There had been some gossip making rounds in industry that Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh, the son of Maharastra CM Vilas Rao Deshmukh are in love and will be getting married soon against the will of Ritesh’s parents. But now things are worse for that love pair. Ritesh’s parents are not willing to the marriage as they are not open to get a Goan Christian as daughter in law. Adding to this they are not happy to get the girl from acting profession. And the issue that keeps Ritesh’s parents away from Genelia is taking some gossips for granted on her. But it is said that a Tollywood actor, who proposed to Genelia earlier has created some gossip on her and took it to Vilas Rao Deshmukh to get the marriage cancelled. So one love can spoil other love! It is said that Ritesh is agreeing to his parents and moving as per their wish. And it takes time for Genelia to get out of this problem.
Like many other heroines Genelia is also under the assistance of her mother Mrs D Souza. It’s she who handles the actress’ dates, money and everything.If anyone wishes to make a movie with Genelia, first the story should be told to Mrs D Souza and only when she gets convinced, the team gets a chance to meet the actress. Adding to all this, the mom also presents some self designed clothes to the team which has to be approved instantly and then showed to Genelia as well.Genelia murmurs ‘mom-mom’ mantra these days and her mom rocks ahead with her professionalism this way. This is working out in Southern movies but will the same trend work out in Hindi filmdom?!! How could be manage with ‘Jaane Tu..’?!
The hit Tamil film Chennai Kadhal is now being dubbed into Telugu as ‘Prema’. Genelia and Bharath are the lead actors. Muthyala Ramdas and Kalpana are jointly producing the film in Telugu. Vikraman of Vasantham and Cheppave Chirugali fame is the director. The film is a mass love and action entertainer. Brahmaji’s villainy is one of the highlights of the film. Joshua has scored the music for the film. The dubbing works are now in progress and the film will hit the screens by the end of October.
Apparently she is preparing for her visit to Greece where she will be shooting for Anees Bazmee’s “It’s my Life” with Harman Baweja. Genelia is learning the basics of the language but she finds it quite difficult. According to sources, she has learnt to speak some basic words in Greek like Good Morning, Good Afternoon etc.
