We saw pretty and bubbly Genelia in Santosh Subramaniam opposite Jayam Ravi. After that, she moved to Bollywood and the success of her Hindi film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na brought her a string of offers in Hindi. Now Genelia is one of the hottest heroines in the Hindi film industry. Her appearance in ads for some leading consumer brands is also adding to her popularity. Presently Genelia is shooting for Ken Ghosh’s film with Shahid Kapur. How does she feel being away from home and the South Indian film industry?
“Well, I am doing one more Telugu film titled Katha. Of course my Southern projects had to be reduced because of my assignments in Bollywood. But I will never give up South Indian films,” she says. An appreciable attitude indeed!
