Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza starrer ‘Chance Pe Dance’ is all set to hit the silver screen on November 6.

Interestingly. Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Jail’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ are also having their respective release on the very same day.

A reliable source confirmed “The film is complete and the promos should begin any time now. As of now, 6th November looks like the best bet for the Shahid Kapoor-Genelia D’Souza starrer to release.”

Shahid would have liked to have his films spaced out as he shares, “See, such things can work either ways. If they all click, then well… wow, that’s great. In the ideal world, it is good to have some gap between your films. But then, 2009 has hardly been an ideal world with releases being delayed due to producers’ strike, swine flu, etc. These have been hectic times for me too, as I have been shooting for Parmeet Sethi’s Yash Raj film during and around the release of ‘Kaminey’. I am into the promotion of ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ now and soon after its release, I fly off to US for Parmeet’s film. Then I return for the promotion of ‘Chance Pe Dance’.”

This is why the release plans for Chance Pe Dance on 6th November have to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Well!If the three films indeed release on the same day, it would be the biggest and most interesting clash of 2009.

Let’s see who eventually backs out from the 6th November plans and comes later.
