Genny as she’s fondly called, is now a pan Indian actress! She has set her foot in almost all the leading film industries of India. Point a language, she’s there! Remember she made her debut in Tamil and ever since she hasn’t looked back in Tamil cinema. So is the case with neighbouring Telugu! She’s the heroine in demand!

Not just the south, she’s a name to beckon even in Bollywood! Whenever a film maker thinks of a ‘youthful love story’, the only name that strikes his/her mind would be Genelia. Look at her cute performance in ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, it was a lovable character personified by Genny.

Leave the heroine side of her alone. She was honoured with the ‘Brand Ambassadaor of the Year’ award for 2010. Every third commercial on TV, Genelia’s talking to us, if not literally! No wonder, she’s pan Indian!

A peep in her diary and it’s revealed that she’s busy with a dozen projects down south! Besides working for ‘Velayudham’ with Tamil Superstar’s Vijay and ready with ‘Uttamaputhiran’ with Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush, Genelia also has a big budget Telugu movie titled ‘Orange’ with Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan Teja.

Not just that, she’s part of the trilingual by ace film maker Santosh Sivan titled ‘Urumi’ which will mark her debut in Malayalam. She plays a role of a Portuguese princess! Whoa!
